Under the newly enacted law, signs posted by landowners will now remain valid for a full year.
A new piece of legislation aimed at refining the regulations surrounding land posting in Vermont has been signed by the governor. The previous guidelines indicated that landowners were required to post their properties each year starting January 1, which raised significant worries among many landowners.
Under the newly enacted law, signs posted by landowners will now remain valid for a full year, eliminating the requirement for date labels on these postings. It is important to note that, while the signs do not need to include dates, landowners are still obligated to renew their postings with the town clerk annually.
This change is intended to alleviate some of the confusion and concerns previously expressed by landowners regarding the posting of their property.
