A tragic incident occurred in Melrose, Massachusetts, where a nine-year-old boy involved in Stowe’s Green Mountain Academy ski program lost his life due to an unexpected accident at school. During recess on Monday, Zakaria Bel Qaid was struck by a tree that fell onto the playground.
His family shared the news on social media, expressing their deep sorrow and highlighting the passion Zakaria had for skiing. In remembrance of their son, they requested that contributions be directed toward the Green Mountain Academy in his honor.
