A tragic incident on Route 12 in Keene resulted in the death of a pedestrian following a collision with a vehicle late Thursday evening. Emergency services were alerted to the accident around 8:30 p.m., with reports indicating that the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries upon impact.
This section of Route 12, situated between Maple Avenue and Wyman Road, was closed for approximately four hours while law enforcement officials conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. The investigation involved the Keene Police Department’s Collision Analysis Team, along with assistance from the Keene Fire Department, New Hampshire State Police, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
