Suspect in Fairfax Shooting Apprehended

The Vermont State Police have named the individual detained in relation to a shooting incident that resulted in injuries to two individuals in Fairfax during the early hours of Friday morning.

The arrested suspect, Timothy Bickings Jr., a 44-year-old resident of Fairfax, is facing serious charges, including two counts of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated domestic assault, and reckless endangerment. Following his arrest, Bickings was transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans Town, where he is currently being held without the possibility of bail. He is set to appear in court for arraignment at 1:00 p.m. on December 22.

According to law enforcement authorities, the incident took place amid a domestic dispute, and it has been confirmed that the individuals involved in the shooting were acquainted with each other. The victims, who include a man and a woman, received initial medical attention at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans before being relocated to the UVM Medical Center for further care.
