The list of candidates for three open positions on the Select Board was made public on Monday.
Running for a three-year term are Elizabeth McLoughlin, Amanda Ellis-Thurber, and Ken Fay. McLoughlin, who began her tenure with a one-year term in 2019, subsequently served a three-year term in 2020 and another in 2023. Ellis-Thurber is in her first year on the board.
For the two available one-year positions, the contenders include Isaac Evans-Frantz, Deena Chadwick, Bill Harvey, Randy Blodgett, and Nell Mayo. Evans-Frantz is relatively new to the board, having joined just last year.
Candidates had until 5 p.m. on Monday to submit their petitions to appear on the ballot for the election scheduled on March 3. After the deadline, Town Clerk Hilary Francis provided the finalized list of contenders.
Looking ahead, Peter Fish Case, another board member, will see his three-year term conclude next year, while Oscar Heller, the Vice Chairman, will serve until 2028.
