An arrest connected to a murder case in Vermont has been facilitated by a pizza delivery. Terrence Biggs, a 25-year-old from Michigan, faces charges of second-degree murder related to the shooting death of 26-year-old Austin Rodrigues from Rutland, which occurred in April at an apartment on Summer Street.
Records from the court reveal that Biggs placed an order for a pizza at the apartment on the night of the incident. Authorities were able to link the order back to him, which played a crucial role in identifying him as a suspect. The motivations behind the shooting have not been made clear at this time.
Biggs was apprehended by law enforcement in New York during a traffic stop in September. He is currently being held without the option for bail.
