Pick Your Purse Contest Rules

Starting Monday, March 30, 2026, Magic 96.7 (WTSA-FM) will give listeners the chance to register for the “Magic 96.7’s Pick Your Purse” contest. Listeners can enter on the Magic967.com website by fully and completely filling out the contest entry form. Listeners may enter up to one time per calendar day.

Beginning on April 5, 2026 and each weekday thru April 30, 2026, Magic 96.7 will select one entrant from all entrants (the “Contestant”). Between 5:00pm and 6:30pm, Magic 96.7 hosts will call the Contestant on the phone number the Contestant provided when they registered for the contest. If the Contestant does not answer, then another Contestant will be selected and called. This process will continue until a Contestant answers the phone call from Magic 96.7. The Contestant who answers their phone will be deemed the winner for that day (the “Daily Winner).

The Daily Winner will be asked to pick a purse from the available purses by giving the Magic 96.7 hosts the “purse number” they wish to win. Available purses are displayed on the Magic96.7.com website on the “Pick Your Purse” contest page. An available purse is any purse displayed, with a number (1-20) that does not say “taken”. After a purse is chosen by a Daily Winner, it will be marked “taken.” There will be not more than nineteen (19) daily winners during the contest.

All Daily Winners must be present at the “Pick Your Purse” event on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 5:30p-7:00p at Bar 580 in Brattleboro, Vermont. Any Daily Winner that does not attend the Event and checkin with Magic 96.7 staff by 6:00pm on the day of the Event will forfeit their prize, and another alternate winner may be chosen. Daily Winners will be presented with the purse the picked at the Event. Magic 96.7 WTSA-FM will not be held responsible if any events are cancelled, or prizes cannot be redeemed, due to circumstances outside of the Station’s control.

Each purse chosen may have an additional prize inside, including up to $1,000 in cash. No additional prize(s) are guaranteed in any purse and some or all purses may have no additional prizes.

Listeners may only win once, and only one win is permitted per household. Any attempt made by a listener to win multiple times, including by using someone else’s personal information, will disqualify them. The use of software or hardware that allows a user to enter more than once is strictly prohibited in all Community Media, LLC contests. In the event of a dispute over an entry, the authorized user of the email address given at the time of winning will be declared the entrant, and that person must be eligible to win under these official rules. Magic 96.7 WTSA-FM has the final say on who wins their contests.

By entering this contest, listeners understand and agree that any Personal Data provided during the entry process will be collected and used by Community Media, LLC to identify and communicate with them. In certain circumstances, Magic 96.7 WTSA-FM may share that Personal Data with sponsors, advertisers, affiliates, or other partners.

This contest is open to all eligible Iowa residents 18 or older who have not won anything on Magic 96.7, nor any Community Media, LLC station within 30 days. That period extends to 6 months for those who have won prizes valued at $600 or more. No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferable, nor can they be substituted for cash or an alternative prize. Winners must present a valid state ID and W9 to collect the prize. Winners are also responsible for any local, state, or federal taxes and fees associated with the prize. The value of this prize is estimated to be worth $200.

Employees of Magic 96.7 WTSA-FM and its ultimate parent company, Community Media, LLC, their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the WTSA-FM’s main studio are not eligible to win any contest. “Immediate family” includes the spouse, great grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is the current legal guardian.
