Mercedes-Benz has come to an agreement with a group of states, among them New Hampshire, in connection with a scandal regarding diesel emissions. The involved states had charged the company with misleading consumers regarding the pollution levels of its vehicles in advertising and during emissions testing. As part of this resolution, the automaker will face financial penalties amounting to close to $150 million. New Hampshire’s Attorney General’s Office has indicated that the state is set to receive upwards of $360,000 from the overall settlement.
