A 22-year-old resident of Keene, Austin Bailey, is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation into his conduct with a minor on the social media platform Snapchat. The inquiry commenced when the alleged victim reported the incident to law enforcement in June.

According to details presented in an affidavit by Rindge Detective Christopher Martin filed at Cheshire County Superior Court, the young victim indicated that she had communicated with Bailey through text messages and Snapchat and had met him at various locations.

Authorities obtained a search warrant to examine Bailey’s Snapchat communications, revealing that he had allegedly sent the minor several explicit images. Furthermore, the evidence included numerous explicit photographs of other girls, believed to be of high school age.

Bailey has been charged with four counts of transmitting a lewd image to a child under the age of 16, one count of felonious sexual assault, and one count related to prohibited computer use, all categorized as felonies. He is set to appear in court for his arraignment on Wednesday.
