Gas prices are likely to be at their lowest during the upcoming Christmas season, based on forecasts from Gas Buddy. The anticipated national average price for gasoline is $2.79 per gallon, a significant drop from $3 per gallon recorded the previous year.

AAA has indicated that a record number of travelers are expected on the roads in the coming weeks. Gas Buddy recommended that consumers utilize loyalty programs, be aware of varying state taxes, and prioritize safe driving practices. AAA pointed out that the highest gas prices can be found in Sullivan County, where the average stands at $3.02 per gallon, while the lowest prices in New Hampshire are found in Belknap County with an average of $2.84 per gallon.
