The unsolved case surrounding the disappearance of Tina Sinclair and her daughter, Bethany, continues to be actively pursued by New Hampshire authorities as the 25th anniversary approaches. Tina, aged 34, and her 15-year-old daughter vanished from their home in West Chesterfield during the weekend of February 3-4, 2001.

Despite numerous searches, including dive team operations in the Connecticut River and extensive reviews at their old residence on Mountain Road, investigators have not been able to uncover any conclusive evidence that would shed light on their fates. The New Hampshire Cold Case Unit reports that the investigation remains open, and they are reexamining all evidence using modern forensic technology that was unavailable at the time of the initial investigation.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is calling for public assistance, urging anyone with information about the case to come forward, no matter how inconsequential it might seem. Investigators believe that the passage of time might affect circumstances, giving people the courage to disclose information that could assist in resolving this long-standing mystery. Family members have echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that although life has moved on for many, the uncertainty surrounding the case remains deeply felt by those closest to the Sinclairs.

Documents related to the case remain sealed following a lengthy legal battle, during which the state successfully argued that releasing the materials could hinder the ongoing investigation. Historically, the case has troubled families, and authorities are hopeful that advancements in investigative technologies will open new avenues for leads.

Those with relevant information are encouraged to reach out to the New Hampshire Cold Case Unit at 603-271-2663 or via email at coldcaseunit@dos.nh.gov.
