Authorities are appealing to the community for assistance in locating an individual responsible for the theft of a catalytic converter from Rod’s Mobil. The Vermont State Police were informed of the incident on Wednesday. Footage from surveillance cameras captured a person wearing a ski mask using a saw to remove the catalytic converter from a vehicle. The individual was last seen departing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.

The theft occurred between 5:10 a.m. and 5:25 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Law enforcement encourages anyone with relevant information to reach out to Trooper Maldonado via phone at 802-722-4600. Additionally, tips can be submitted anonymously through the designated state police website.
