An undisclosed benefactor has committed a substantial $1 million to enhance The Colonial Theatre and Showroom’s endowment in Keene. This significant contribution aims to not only grow the financial foundation of the theatre but also to inspire community members to consider their potential involvement in supporting the venue’s longevity.

The endowment will generate consistent funding that will alleviate operating expenses and back artistic programs. This support ensures that The Colonial can maintain its commitment to accessibility and artistic quality as it continues to engage the local community.
